Special equipment was procured to study the flora and fauna in Stara Planina. The activity aims to provide special equipment for fisheries research, equipment for research and photography of fish, equipment for biodiversity research.

After the completion of the project, the equipment is used by the Institute for Nature Protection. It conducts trainings for the security services, analyzes of water quality and monitoring, that is, counting fish stocks. A test for underground springs was carried out together with the Faculty of Forestry in Belgrade.
