In pursuance of this activity is carried out is the study of the quality of groundwater and surface waters near the river Shugavitsa. For this purpose, on June 29, 2020 – June 30, 2020, a two-day monitoring was carried out along the river in the area of the villages of Krapchene, Nikolovo and Dolno Belotintsi, where 1.3 km north of the village of Dolno Belotintsi, the river flows into a river Ogosta. The purpose is to check for the presence of sources of industrial pollution in the Shugovitsa River, and as a result of the monitoring no presence of sources of industrial pollution was established.
In addition, on 08.07.2020, experts of the Association “Technological Institute of Aquaculture” took samples to study the indicators of water pollution, respectively, water from water bodies and water from wells, in a certified laboratory. The research / testing itself was carried out in the period 08.07.2020 – 17.07.2020, as detailed information regarding the studied indicators and the obtained results can be seen from the protocols published on the site.
