Under the project "Adriatic Network for Marine Ecosystem-ADRINET" - Municipality of Herceg Novi, “Technological Institute of Aquaculture” have engaged and organized fishermen and divers to clean the seabed, which will contribute to the reduction of waste at sea and provide an opportunity for unimpeded and normal life cycle of marine life.

Waste in water bodies has extremely adverse and negative effects on fish, because solid waste has a number of negative qualities and properties that interact with the ecosystem as a whole.

Experienced fishermen and divers have joined the seabed cleanup initiative, which has had a beneficial effect in reducing polluted areas and improving seabed conditions.
