We are preparing a joint action plan for monitoring of the pollution and the water protection in the cross-border region Pirot - Montana. For this purpose, a meeting of representatives of the two municipalities in the cross-border region - Montana and Pirot will be held to discuss key points and factors that will be included in the developed joint plan. In preparing the plan, the main risks of water pollution of any type, including agriculture and the extractive industries, will be considered.

The preparation of the joint plan is of utmost importance in view of the fact that water is the main resource for the existence of any biological life on earth, and to a large extent a resource that is an extremely important economic factor.
